2011 was a defining year for many of us. For me, 2011 was most definitely one of the most challenging and complicated years of my life - yet the most gratifying.
After years of many laborious attempts to mend my family, I cut the umbilical cord and in act of spontaneity (and impulsivity), I moved out. I decided to filter many people out of my life who I've held onto for many years, hoping our interests would align but unfortunately never did. As for my career (or lack thereof), I finally came to accept that limboing between my life-sucking job and post-secondary wasn't going to cut it anymore. I was constantly confronted with the fearful question of "what if..." and the regret of not knowing what real change would be like. I knew deep in my very core if I don't change now, it would slowly trample the fleeting ambition I had left. As a result, I join forces with one of my best friends and co-founded a small business doing something I love - making (and mostly drinking) Bubble Tea
In the midst of all these drastic changes, I diligently searched for an outlet which would enable me to find comfort and inspiration. Design - whether it be Architecture, Home Decor and even Graphic Art has always been a great passion. Many of us are faced with a tight budget so I wanted to feature deals for all you bargain shoppers because Art doesn't always have to come at a hefty price. By having this blog, it will allow combine all my interests and allow me to connect with others who share the same pursuits and save while were at it.
In many previous attempts to maintain a blog, I forgot to establish a core topic which will consistently inspire to cultivate my interests and also motivate me to keep learning about the things I truly love. So without further ado, I welcome you all to kreativespark - my first blog which will explore and share my insights and inspirations on home, design and bargains on a budget. A blog for all creative (and cheap) souls that dwell in each and every one of us.
